El Nido is popular destination for magnificent beaches, best known for bird's nest and limestone cliffs to cite a few. Another spectacular destination! It was a long 5-hour trip by van from Puerto Princesa airport to El Nido. We arrived at Ipil Suites where we stayed for 4 days. We were allexcited to experience the main attraction here that showcases stunning islands and its hidden beauty.
We chose Tour A (the most selected one amongst other tour pagkages) and Tour B (to be posted in a separate article). Tour A is composed of enchanting lagoons and is perfect for those who aren't into beaches that much. Swimming is prohibited in the Big Lagoon since they said the water was too deep and was full of sea urchins. Boats would just enter the lagoon slowly while tourists can take photos. Hence, tour guides encourage tourists to rent kayaks so they can just paddle their way around the Big Lagoon. And we did! It was my first time and was so scared to balance my weight on top. After a few minutes, I calmed myself and diverted my mind on the astonishing view ahead of us. It was fun rowing all the way in! Inside the lagoon welcomes an awe inspiring crystal clear water, the authenticity of the entire atmosphere and the rock formation is incomparable!
